A Letter from Honorary Chairs, Bill and Regina Kort
Spring, 2008
Dear Patron:
The Kansas City Chamber Orchestra is one of our favorite arts organizations. We are very proud to be the honorary chairs for the KCCO's annual 2008 Garden Gala which will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2008. This great party, known for spectacular ambience, food and entertainment, supports local professional musicians who perform the Chamber Orchestra's concerts that we find to be most rewarding.
The Chamber Orchestra is a wonderful community asset. Besides providing great performances of timely works by master composers like Mozart, Beethoven and Vivaldi, it provides additional performance opportunities for talented musicians from the Kansas City Symphony, the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance and other local universities. The orchestra also performs "free of charge" concerts for thousands of Kansas City area school children.
We are writing to ask for your support of this year's event, "A Masquerade in Venice," which will be held at the magnificent Sunset Hills home and gardens of Phil and Alice Bixby. Please consider joining us as a table host, patron or donor.
We promise you an evening filled with entertainment, fine dining and a performance by our excellent Chamber Orchestra. Please be part of this special event to help us make this evening a great success for this worthy cause.
Sincerely,
Bill and Regina Kort
