What is the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra?
If music is the food of life and love, then the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra is the bistro for the soul. Nothing satisfies our need for order, solace, passion and inspiration quite like beautiful music.
Now entering our 21st season, the KCCO has provided healthy portions of Baroque and Classical music, spiced with the latest ingredients from contemporary and 20th century composers. Performed by 24 to 32 of the most talented professional musicians in the Kansas City metropolitan area, the KCCO has gained much acclaim for our intimate and glorious performances in some of the city's best venues. You can read more about our history, our musicians, our featured performers and our most recent Concert Season by clicking here.
